Important
Just letting you know who i think has been the most important players for the Canucks and Devils so far and who will step it up in the playoffs
Devils
Martin Brodeur- has the most shutouts in the league, has three Stanley Cups, as good as it gets!
Patrick Elias- Points leader for the Devils, truely passionate about hockey, quick and puts up important points at important times
Brian Gionta- if he can return for the playoffs and stay healthly, this 5'7 player could produce big points, 10 PP goals in 56 games
Zach Parise- shows leadership already, has 56 points this season, loves the game, enthusiastic
Jamie Langenbrunner- 57 points, 62 PM, 11 PP goals, good leader
Canucks
Roberto Luongo- most wins in the NHL, 4 shutouts, the biggest reason for Vanocuvers comeback season
Daniel Sedin- 76 points, 4 OT winners, 15 PP goals, nearly perfect, great on ice vision, can pretty much do it all
Henrik Sedin- bearly trailing Daniel with 73 points, even better on ice vision, awesome play maker, couldn't ask for anything more
Markus Naslund- with 55 points, will soon wake up and realize he's the only Canucks with a "C" on his jersey and step it up a notch
Bryan Smolinski- good addition to the team already showing he belongs in the playoffs
Kevin Bieksa- picked it up this year after struggling a bit last season, 38 points this season 130 PM, good physical presence
Mattias Ohlund- having a great season with 30 points, excited to have Sopel back, reliable, doesnt needed to look flashly to do his job...<3
Trevor Linden- coming up with big points lately, 5 game point streak going, good veteran influence.......although probably the youngest at heart
Labels: New Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks
